Founded on airborne sound transmission, Shokz Open-Ear Audio technology enhances acoustic delivery. Its primary focus is reducing sound leakage and improving the sound quality of our open-ear TWS earbuds.
With continuous advancements in acoustic technology and sound system, our open-ear TWS earbuds provide a rich, immersive listening experience designed for all-day comfort, wherever life takes you.

Our Commitment to Innovation

The speakers in open-ear TWS earbuds are relatively distanced from the human ear canal, and with no insulation. They do not have ears tip to guide sound directly into the ear like intra-auricular earbuds, nor feature cushioned earcups that prevent sound to escape on supra-auricular headphones.
To provide users with a detail-rich audio experience that combines comfort, our engineering team comprehensively optimised the earbuds from sizes to structures, materials, and sound transmission paths.

High Performance Dual-diaphragm Driver

Featured in OpenFit Pro, the driver’s 11×20mm synchronised dual diaphragms deliver a wider bandwidth and better optimise low frequencies for rich, dimensional sound with minimal distortion.

Compact Bass Powerhouse

Bassphere™ is our patented dual-driver sound system that boosts bass output and stability by coupling two identical drivers into a spherical module with a single sound outlet. This technology was first applied to Shokz clip-on earbuds, OpenDots ONE.

An Amazing Duet Between Two Speakers

OpenFit 2 is the first to feature Shokz DualBoost™ technology. An independent high-frequency driver harmoniously works alongside an extra-large dynamic bass driver, allowing crystal clear high frequency sound and powerful, textured bass for an enhanced listening experience.

Making Full Use of the Shape and the Space

Making full use of the limited space in the earbuds, the custom “run track” shape diaphragm in the OpenFit allows to control the earbuds’ size and still extend the effective area for higher amplitude, which is a key factor to generate stronger bass.

Intelligent Audio Algorithm

Shokz OpenBass™ 2.0

Shokz OpenBass™ 2.0 was applied to OpenFit Pro and OpenDots ONE. This intelligent tuning algorithm not only enhance bass, but also balances the full frequency range in real time, across different volume and environments. This creates a consistent sound profile with even lower distortion, and keeps the sound clean.

Shokz OpenBass™ 1.0

Shokz OpenBass™ 1.0 was first implemented in the original OpenFit, focusing on low-frequency optimisation. It finely tunes low-frequency signals of varying intensities to deliver targeted enhancement and a stronger, more impactful bass response.

Personalized EQ Algorithm

Shokz collaborated with audio engineering experts around the world to introduce scene-based EQ modes to our customers. These modes allow the headphones to better match individual preferences and different listening scenarios.

Shokz's latest flagship earbuds, the OpenFit Pro, are powered by the latest DirectPitch™ 3.0. Enhanced wideband leakage control keeps the audio directed toward you, reducing leakage and maintaining your audio privacy.

DirectPitch™ 2.0

DirectPitch™ 2.0 is an advanced sound frequency allocation technology with distinct sound outlets. The central rounded sound outlet ensures crisp, pure treble, while the U-shaped sound outlet delivers deep, power bass. This configuration highly enhances transmission accuracy and efficiency for open-ear listening, while also maintaining privacy.

DirectPitch™ 1.0

DirectPitch™ 1.0 combines two innovative solutions: directional sound transmission and phase cancellation. Our optimised acoustic beam concentrates the sound source straight into the ears, while reverse sound waves actively counter persistent leaks.
