We got the AfterShokz Air on our Global Brand Ambassador, Dan Cox! An accomplished triathlete and health enthusiast who just completed the IRONMAN 70.3 in Santa Cruz, here’s what he had to say about our open-ear bone conduction headphone.
AfterShokz: What were your first impressions?
Dan Cox: The first thing I noticed was the weight. I thought Titanium was light, but with these, you really don't even notice you are wearing them. The functionality is the same high standard; button access and response are great and the sound and clarity are amazing.
AfterShokz: Describe your first running experience with Air?
Dan Cox: The first run I wore them, I actually thought I left my house without them. I didn't notice I had them on as I walked out my door. They are ridiculously light and comfortable. They really do feel like you just have speakers floating around you.
AfterShokz: What do you like about the product?
Dan Cox: I love that I can run without the Air bouncing around or having to worry about adjusting them or them falling off like my old earbuds, especially when I would sweat heavily. I love that I can hear everything else around me while running, biking and even in the gym. I’m not bumping into people because I can hear everything around me while still enjoying my music and podcasts.
AfterShokz: To whom would you recommend this product?
Dan Cox: I literally recommend this product to everyone I know who wears earbuds. I can't believe earbuds are still a thing for runners and bikers. It’s crazy to me to have your ears blocked off from sound while training. Anyone I let someone use them, they love them immediately and ask where they can get a pair. You just don’t know what you’re missing until you try them.
AfterShokz Air is now available for purchase in the U.S.
