Shokz Chasing Stars 2026 — Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser The “Shokz Chasing Stars 2026” program (the “Program”) is organised by Shokz (the “Organiser”). 

2. Eligibility The Program is open to individuals who:
● Are at least 18 years old at the time of application; 
● Submit a complete and truthful application; 
● Comply with these Terms & Conditions. Participants must ensure they are legally permitted to participate in the relevant marathon event. Employees of Shokz and its affiliated companies may be excluded from participation. 

3. Application Process To participate, applicants must:
● Submit an application through the official Chasing Stars landing page;
● Provide accurate personal information, including a valid email address;
● Indicate whether they are applying for a race entry (if available) or already hold a confirmed race entry. Each participant may submit only one application per race requiring a bib. Applicants who already hold confirmed entries for multiple World Marathon Majors may be considered for multiple race features. Any attempt to submit multiple applications using different identities may result in disqualification.

4. Program Description Chasing Stars is a global runner initiative supporting participants of select Abbott World Marathon Major Races in 2026. Selected participants may receive:
● Shokz headphone;
● A Chasing Stars Race Kit ;
● Feature opportunities on official Shokz channels;
● A limited number of race entries (subject to availability and regional allocation). Race entries are limited and not guaranteed. Selection is based on evaluation criteria including (but not limited to):
● Personal motivation and story;
● Running experience and race readiness;
● Community and Social Media engagement;
● Content collaboration potential;
● Diversity considerations;
● Race entry availability. Selection is not random and not based on chance. Final selections are reviewed and determined solely by Shokz.

5. Race Entry (Bib) Conditions If a participant is awarded a race entry:
● Shokz provides the race entry only.
● Shokz does NOT provide travel, accommodation, insurance, visa support, coaching, or any other race-related expenses.
● The selected participant must comply with all official registration procedures and deadlines set by the relevant race organiser.
● Failure to complete registration within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture of the race entry.
● Race entries are non-transferable and may not be sold.
● Any attempt to transfer or resell a race entry will result in disqualification. Shokz is not responsible for cancellation, postponement, or modification of any race event. Participation in a marathon involves inherent risks. By accepting a race entry, the participant acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for participation.

6. Selection & Announcement Selections will be made in stages according to each race timeline. Two race entries will be distributed via Shokz’s Strava activity, which is independent from the Program, and governed by its own terms and conditions. Selected participants will:
● Be notified via the email address provided in the application;
● Be publicly announced on the corresponding race page or official Shokz channels prior to the event. Applicants must ensure their email remains active and accessible. If a selected participant fails to respond within 48 hours, Shokz reserves the right to select an alternate participant.

7. Content & Marketing Usage By participating in the Program, selected participant agree to:
● Share race-related content as outlined in the program guidelines;
● Grant Shokz the right to use submitted content (including name, likeness, and social media content) for marketing and promotional purposes globally, without additional compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Timeline Applications open:
● April 1, 2026 Race-specific deadlines: 
● April 7 – Boston & London
● May 10 – Sydney & Berlin
● June 30 – Chicago & New York Results will be announced in stages according to race schedules.

9. Program Benefits Conditions All products are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Shokz headphones are covered under Shokz’s standard warranty policy.

10. Privacy & Data Protection Personal data submitted in connection with the Program will be collected and processed for the following purposes: 
● Program administration and runner selection;
● Program Benefits fulfilment and logistics coordination;
● Communication regarding the Program; All personal data will be processed in accordance with Shokz’s applicable Privacy Policy and relevant local data protection laws. Details regarding how Shokz collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy applicable to each country or region. Participants should refer to the Privacy Policy available on their local Shokz website for full details. Where required by local law (including but not limited to GDPR, UK GDPR, and applicable U.S. state privacy laws), Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, or withdrawal of consent as described in the relevant Privacy Policy.

11. Liability Shokz reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Program in the event of unforeseen circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shokz shall not be liable for:
● Event cancellation or modification;
● Travel or accommodation issues;
● Personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in a marathon;
● Any indirect or consequential losses. Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes.

12.Governing Law & Jurisdiction These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Singapore.
