Your Guide to Wearing Shokz Correctly

Aside from patented bone conduction technology, the open-ear design and wraparound band are two of the most iconic features of any AfterShokz product. Although AfterShokz are practically weightless and insanely comfortable during wear (if we do say so ourselves), putting them on can be tricky if you’re a first-timer. Read on to discover the answer to one of the most common questions from new AfterShokz customers: How do I wear my AfterShokz?

How To Wear AfterShokz 

1. First, hold your AfterShokz upright in front of you with the wraparound band closest to you and the open end facing away from you.  The power/volume+ and volume- buttons should be face down.
2. While holding your AfterShokz, bring your device around the back of the base of your neck, similar to how you would put on a lanyard.
3. Once at the base of your neck, raise your AfterShokz up to your ears and position the ear hooks around your ears so the transducers sit comfortably outside of your ear and just above your temple bones. 
4. After confirming the device is secure, turn on your AfterShokz and enjoy your open-ear listening experience!  

How To Wear AfterShokz With A Face Mask

1. Put on your face mask, ensuring your ear loops are properly secure and that the mask fits snugly over your mouth and nose.
2. Next, hold your AfterShokz upright in front of you with the wraparound band closest to you and the open end facing away from you. The power/volume+ and volume- buttons should be face down.
3. While holding your AfterShokz, bring your device around the back of the base of your neck, similar to how you would put on a lanyard.
4. Once at the base of your neck, raise your AfterShokz up to your ears and position the ear hooks around your ears so the transducers sit comfortably outside of your ear and just above your temple bones.
5. After confirming the device is securely sitting outside of your temples, turn on your Shokz and enjoy the open-ear listening experience! 

How To Wear AfterShokz With Sunglasses or Eyeglasses 

1. Put on your eyeglasses or sunglasses and ensure they’re properly positioned on your face.
2. Next, hold your AfterShokz upright in front of you with the wraparound band closest to you and the open end facing away from you.  The power/volume+ and volume- buttons should be face down.
3. While holding your AfterShokz, bring your device around the back of the base of your neck, similar to how you would put on a lanyard.
4. Once at the base of your neck, raise your AfterShokz up to your ears and position the ear hooks around your ears so the transducers sit comfortably outside of your ear and just above your temple bones.
5. After confirming the device is securely sitting outside of your temples, turn on your Shokz and enjoy the open-ear listening experience! 

How To Wear AfterShokz With A Helmet

1. First, hold your AfterShokz upright in front of you with the wraparound band closest to you and the open end facing away from you.  The power/volume+ and volume- buttons should be face down.

5. Finally, put on your helmet and ensure it is securely and properly positioned on your head.
