Each one of the 4 fixed EQ modes is designed for a specific listening experience. The Vocal option is ideal for podcasts and voice-centric content, since it enhances vocal performance. The Bass Boost is perfect for EDM and other types of bass-heavy music, as it amplifies low-frequency effects. And the Treble Boost is great for music with a lot of brass, string, and percussive instruments, since it highlights high-frequency details. When you just want balanced sound quality, you can use the Standard option and enjoy any kind of music.
If none of these options feel right, then the Shokz App also includes a 5th, customizable EQ mode that you can tailor to your own personal preferences.
Continuous Volume Adjustment
This feature was created to address a sometimes reported problem with the OpenFit Air, in which sweat or hair accidentally touches the earbuds, triggering an unexpected and continuous change in volume. To prevent this from happening, you can now turn off Continuous Volume Adjustment in the Shokz App by following these simple steps.
First, you go to “Customize Controls.” Then you select “Press-and-Hold.” And finally, you tap the “Continuous Volume Adjustment” button so that it slides all the way to the left. When it’s turned off, the volume will only change by one level, no matter how long you hold the button for.

To turn it back on, you just have to tap the “Continuous Volume Adjustment” button again so that it slides all the way to the right. Now, you can press and hold your earbuds and adjust the volume continuously. By default, Continuous Volume Adjustment is turned on when you first purchase your OpenFit Air.
Please note, if you’ve customized your earbuds and set “Press-and-Hold” to perform a different function (i.e. skip tracks or open Voice Assistant), the “Continuous Volume Adjustment” button won’t appear in the Shokz App.
MultiPoint Pairing
The Multipoint Pairing capability allows you to connect two devices to your OpenFit Air and effortlessly switch between them. Using the Shokz App, you can conveniently set up and manage the two Bluetooth connections.

To start, select “Multipoint Pairing,” located above “Customize Controls.” A pop-up page will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to pair with the first device. Next, press the orange button that says “Connect to the Second Device.” This will produce a set of instructions to establish a connection with the second device.
Conclusion
With its 5 EQ modes, Continuous Volume Adjustment function, and Multipoint Pairing capability, the latest upgrades to the Shokz App are sure to improve your experience with the OpenFit Air. So download the app today and take your listening to the next level.
